Training and Background:

  • Certified Professional Life Coach with extensive coaching experience. (5 years full time)
  • Graduated from the International Coaching Academy
program accredited by the International Coaching Federation. Trained in these coaching areas: transition (major life changes), wellness and life balance, spiritual coaching,  executive coaching, and business building.
  • ICA provides excellent training, but what she has found missing in the coach training industry is an awareness of  right brain /creative people and their unique barriers and unique ways to move forward. Being of 'right mind' herself, she has created a coaching process that works for right brain dominant clients and allows left brain clients to incoorporate creative thinking tools into their coaching process.
  • To learn more and to support her own style, Janet became a Certified Kaizen-Muse Creativity Coach and Liscensed Creative Muse Group Facilitator  www.themuseisin.com
  • International trainer for Muse Group Facilitator in collaboration with Jill Badonsky.
  • Published Author
  • 20 years experience as an arts and recreation coordinator (Recreation and Leisure Mgmt Degree) includes: facilitated the building of a tournament skatepark, implemented numerous large events from BC Seniors Games to conferences to large scale youth events to being involved in various Arts events to coordinating up to 80 programs and staff per session.
  • Touch for Health I and II Certificates
  • Certified Waterski Coach.
  • 20 years as a clay artist and 7 years ago added watercolour to her art palette.
  • Artwork has been shown in various shows, including a solo show in 2006, group show in Chicago 2008, and a solo show in the Cube, Kamloops Art Gallery 2009. This show was held in conjunction with the publication of her book, "The Demise of Noshud Hafta" illustrated in clay.
  • Has led many workshops in self- development, youth awareness, imagination, creativity, and art since 1980.
  • Her life experiences are many, from having lived in the Middle East to having a number of losses in her family, from being president and coach of the Waterski Club, to being a dedicated mother, and now a Nana! She has had challenging injuries and moved forward successfully to be able to continue her adventures of waterskiing, backpacking Turkey and Greece, and playing a lot!
  • Adores travellling and has explored many countries and cultures - preferring backpacking, hostels and hiking to package tours and 5 star accomodations.
  • Loves hiking, waterskiing, wakeboarding, swimming, snorkelling, downhill skiing, boating, camping.
  • Unusual and successful techniques to reach peak performance in sport.
  • Life long interest and exploration of spirit, the magic of life, and soul given gifts.
  • Intrigued by pirates, tall ships, and faeries...

All of this has made Janet a little bit life-wise, compassionate, and a successful life, career, creativity coach  and advocate for the creative soul and the adventurous soul.

The ripple effect of just one individual accessing
and implementing their inner
wisdom, soul given gifts, and their unique best ways to move forward

is enough to change the world.
That "knowing' is what empowers Janet to do her

artworks, coaching, and contributing.

Well, that, and it's fun.

oh, and she is a firespinner.
Not a great firespinner, but a firespinner none the less.
Might have started because of the quote:
"Do something every day that scares you"
