A coach must do what a coach encourages others to do;
Live the dream.
Oh poor me,
I get to go to Turkey and Greece for seven weeks this Fall.
And I’m currently immersed in finishing my books.
I also get to be a coach – which constantly brings me joy watching others moving forward with passion, joy, and success.

It’s all possible!
I am constantly amazed by what is possible when one pushes the boundaries of their dreams – exploring, dreaming and discovering that they can, in fact, live the life they are most passionate about.
People looking in on me and my choices might think, “How can she possibly pull this off?”
To that I answer, “Well, for one, I have a coach.” I am especially excited to have acquired one the top level coaches in the field – Michelle O’Connell. She is one of Jack Canfield’s coaches
(of ‘The Secret,‘ ‘Chicken Soup for the Soul’ and ‘The Success Principles’ fame)
The relief I feel to have a coach of this calibre to support and encourage me as I move forward towards my dreams is immense. I know beyond a shadow of a doubt that I have put in place the exact resource I need to get where I want to be.
And part of that dream is to be the best coach I can possibly be. What better way to get there than to be coached by the best?
Hurray! I am off to
Turkey and Greece as of September 23 - backpacking with my family, including the littlest one; my daughter’s wedding in Santorini; and then a few weeks lulling about on an island... to paint and write.

Simple words and simple thoughts that stop you from living your dream:
· That won’t make you any money.
· You have responsibilities you know.
· I am very responsible.
· What would my family think!
· Honey, we worry about you.
· I know someone who tried that and failed.
· Somebody else has already done that.
· I wish I’d done that when I was younger.
· You’d better do it while you’re young because you won’t get to when you start a family.
· Aren’t I supposed to be ‘in the moment’ and happy with where I’m at right now?
· (And here’s a kicker) I feel guilty wanting more out of life.
· Who am I to think I can do that? (to which I say, Who are you not to?)

The Novel:
I am finally, finally, finishing my novel. Yes, this is because I have a coach and it is very clear how important this is for me. In the process of writing, I came across these two stories from pottery pieces that went out long ago. Enjoy!
Creating Herself
Faerie watched and waited as other Faeries came
and went from Mud Heaven.
Faerie quite likes her body of light,
but her heart was set on getting out in the people world.
Ah, but no nature spirit, no potter, not even troll
would play a part in getting her out there.
For awhile Faerie even pouted, felt ignored, and
sometimes got a wee bit angry.
And then Faerie started to think...
and watch the other Faeries more closely....
... and chatted a bit with Potter.
Her little body suddenly shone brightly
one day as she realized it was up to her!
No one else could say who
she should be!
No one else knew her better than herself!
It was her choice how she wants to appear in the people world!
Only she could create herself!
Presenting wise and enchanting Faerie as she creates herself!
Good for you, Faerie!

Perceptions
Troll was curled up in Potter’s arm watching the creation of this pot.
“Potter,” Troll growled, “why didn’t Faerie build his
ladder to the top?!”
Meanwhile Faerie carved a door into the pot,
delighted at the opportunity to have a door!
“Potter, her ladder is completely upside down
and #@$ backwards, how silly!”
“Troll don’t swear, you’re in a story you know.”
“Grumble grumble,” Troll grumbled.
Meanwhile Other Faerie swung herself
upside down and @#$ backwards, calling out to Faerie,
“Hey look at me, look at the fun I can have
when my ladder is upside down and backwards! whoo hoo!’
“Oh stupid little thing, she’s going to fall you know, just watch,”
remarked Troll knowingly, “.. and HE is really gonna fall!”
Potter and Troll watched as Faerie flew a log in to
connect between the ladders.
Together they carved another door, and the
connection of the ladders was complete.
The Faeries scampered across logs and up and down ladders.
They performed graceful triple flip dives off the highest ladder.
And when they wanted to rest,
they had dozens of little places to snuggle up.
“Potter, they’ve created a dangerous stupid place.” said Troll.
Meanwhile, we heard Faeries cry out joyously,
“We’ve created Heaven!”
May you have Faerie Perceptions!

Yes, a collection my faeries, paintings, and cards are playing there. More to come.. but for now, I’m writing!
Dreams come true. Without that possibility, nature would not incite us to have them.
