Especially for Creatives

Right Brain/ Left Brain Creativity Test.

A quick online test that determines the dominant side of your brain,
with results that help you better understand what Right Brain/ Left Brain means!

And you don't have to sell your soul to get the answers, or even leave your email address!  Nice!

You know who you are...  artists, creative thinkers, creatives who don't call themselves artists yet, crafters, writers, creative dabblers... and people who have so many ideas in their head they don't know what to do!

Besides being a lifelong advocate for the creative soul, Janet is a certified life and career coach, and a licensed creative muse group facilitator. Her background and experience helps her to understand that creatives have their own unique ways of moving forward.  Janet understands the barriers to success for creatives, and the empowering ways to get past those barriers. Including the barrier that might be telling you you won't ever make money at this.

Is this you?

  • The terms 'setting goals' and 'structure' sends a chill up your spine.

  • You need breaks, pauses.. but beat yourself up for taking them.
  • Sometimes you just seem to avoid creating. TV or computers become a fervent pastime.
  • You just don't have time.
  • A rebel, oh how you resist 'authority'.
  • Your creative process is non-linear - to others you seem 'all over the map.'  You might beat yourself up for this one too.
  • A bit of perfectionism and maybe a lot of sensitivity or vice versa or a lot of both..
  • Creating 'has to' be the last thing on your list of priorities, because of your other responsibilities.  Yet, it's always on your mind.
  • And how is that inner critic doing?
  • Feeling guilty because you 'should be' doing something else when you are creating.

Coaching with Janet is an empowering experience that allows creatives to be creatives and feel darn good about it.

Creative clients have had successes such as:

  • starting books they've always wanted to write,
  • published books,
  • held solo art exhibits,
  • built their business,
  • found ways to easily incorporate creativite thinking and creative action into their daily life,
  • have started to paint, draw, and sculpt after many years of 'not getting to it."

Options for Creatives:

1. Personal Coaching:   Regularly scheduled coaching sessions are the ideal way to move forward quickly, creatively and successfully.  First and foremost, we recommend that.  Coaching is available by phone, skype, email or in person.  The best way to know if individual coaching is right for you is to experience coaching.  Click here to book a complimentary session.

2. Creative Muse classes and workshops:  Affordable creativity coaching with kindred spirits.  Go to  workshops page to learn more!    Liberate the creative inspiration in you!

3. Creative People Gatherings                             FREE

For those of you who've told us, "I'd just like to spend an evening with a bunch of creative people"  and for those of you who are now thinking, "ohhh, I like this idea...", the Gatherings have begun!

For the creatively inclined:  artists (visual, written, performing) and those who haven't quite gotten around to calling themselves artists; crafters and creative thinkers; and all wanna-be's.  If this write up intrigues you, you're invited!   Nothing is planned for these social nights.  Who needs to plan if you're putting a bunch of creatives in a room together!

Next gathering to be hosted in the Fall.  Contact Janet for details.

4.  So many ideas, so little getting done about them? Try this: Write your ideas on index cards.  Have them audition for you.  Go with the winners... the ones that made you, the director, know this one has success in it's 'eyes'.. then help that idea by listing some small actions that gets you both going.
