WHAT IS A MODERN DAY MUSE GROUP ?  (by Jill Badonsky) 

Modern Day Muse Groups are day, weekly, or monthly workshops based on the book The Nine Modern Day Muses (and a Bodyguard): 10 Guides to Creative Inspiration for Artists, Poets, Lovers and Other Mortals Wanting to Live a Dazzling Existence.

The Modern Day Muses (and the Bodyguard) are ten creative principles in the guise of Muses.  The journey using the Modern Day Muses is a step by step process that is designed to open individuals up to their creative

gifts and equip them in a playful but practical way to break through creative obstacles. Creativity is filled with gifts of the spirit and has the ability to open us to a life of joy, resourcefulness and authenticity. This program facilitates our ability to activate, embrace, and follow-through with our creativity. It has been freeing the creativity of thousands since 1999.

Modern Day Muse Groups Help Participants:
o Reawaken their child-like spirit in an atmosphere of joy, laughter and celebration versus drama and negativity.

How this collaboration came to be... (by Janet Whitehead)

 there was a woman who was somewhat magical

(that said to entice you to continue reading)  mortal who recognized that creative beings, being the smaller percentage of the planet,  often didn't feel like they fit all comfy cozy in the 'normal' realm of .. well.. everything from schools,  to workplaces, to traditional self help processes, to even their own families.

They did however fit well into fantasy storybooks, but alas, life doesn't always offer that opportunity.

And so she set out on a journey to change the world.  Well, at least to find ways to support the creative being.  She became a life coach with a creative twist and was in constant pursuit to learn more. THEN one day she discovered the empowering, wise and brilliantly funny book on creativity called

"The Nine Modern Day Muses and a Bodyguard"
by Jill Badonsky. 

Part way into the book, she leaped up and emailed Jill  to say that her book was the most amazing book ever ever and more ever.

The rest is history.  But you don't necessarily know that, so thats a bit of a silly statement. Janet became certified as a Muse Group Facilitator and gets to invite wonderful people into her life and introduce them to the powerful and playful muses and a bodyguard of their own making.

She gets to witness  these precious people access the muses to grow into confident and empowered creative beings while...

JIll and Janet discovered they were kindred spirits and now spend time encouraging each other in their passion  for creative souls. Sometimes over a bit of whine, but mostly over cheese and oysters and quirky conversations, silly emails and making up names  for each other. 

Janet is ever grateful to have discovered Jill as her wondrous mentor, teacher, coach and very good friend. Oh. And now Janet trains muse group facilitators, and is added Kaizen-Muse Creativity Coach certification to her learnings.  And Jill continues to teach new coaches and write new books.

   And they lived creatively ever after. 

But this is not "The End" because now you can join the story. 

You are invited to  become an advocate for the creative soul.
You can make a difference.   And have fun in the process.
