Testimonial for the Storybook:
"We have never seen anything like this book and I feel like it is bringing magic to my kids and me! Each time we read it, we find something new in the illustrations, and some new idea in our thoughts!" The McGregor Family.
If you were at a bookstore, you would get to pick up a book and browse through.
And so, Tommi the leprechaun and I invite you to browse here!
From the Back Cover:
When young Tommi the leprechaun sets out on her journey of creativity, she meets the seemingly kind and wise Noshud Hafta; but it is not long before Tommi realizes that Noshud’s intentions are to hinder, rather than help, Tommi’s creative spirit. Tommi's attempts to avoid Noshud Hafta reveal the wickedness of Noshud and ultimately lead to a chilling confrontation. Tommi uses the resources at hand to erase the influences that prevent her from being all that she can be.
Can she conquer this oppressive force so entrenched in our beings that many people and leprechauns aren’t even aware of its existence?
Readers will discover that they, too, have met Noshud Hafta. This enchanting story will inspire them to overcome their own barriers and limiting beliefs to pursue the soulful journey of their dreams.
The genre is a mystery: Is it a children's book? A children's book for adults? An art book? or does it deserve it's own genre: fantasy self-help? Either way, it appeals to all of the above!
The hand guilded first edition made in conjunction with the exhibit is sold out.
Janet is currently looking at other options for the second edition. Sculptures are available for gallery exhibits.
A glimpse of gilded covers and a couple of pages:

From the "About the Author " page:
In 1994, Janet L Whitehead wrote the short story, "The Demise of Noshud Hafta," as an exercise in exploring her own creative journey. At the time she had no idea that the process of writing this story would empower her to lead a very creative life. Today she is a recognized artist, author, and professional life and creativity coach.
“Noshud Hafta” has allowed Janet to understand the effects of hidden limiting beliefs. She now helps others to recognize the ‘no's’, the ‘should's’ and the ‘have to's’ that prevent them from being all that they can be. Janet hopes that publishing this story will inspire others to erase the nasty Noshud Hafta's from their thoughts.
And here's a glimpse at the "About the Illustrations" Page.. not in the quality format of the book, mind you, but a glimpse nonetheless.

The Storybook is currently sold out. To learn about it's companion workbook, please go here.
