Why Janet created her series, which she affectionately calls the
"When I grow up I want to be Novel"
workbooks.
If you want to make a change, but continue to feel stuck, there's a lot of big books meant to help you. But I've found there's too much 'advice' and not a lot of true SELF discovery in many of them. And for some, the amount of time needed to spend with the book was overwhelming and the rest of life distracts from actually ever finishing the process.
In creating these, I took a risk: I've trusted that you do have your answers and that you simply need a little guiding process that inspires you to get the pen out and find them.
And I'm glad I did... these little workbooks are working. People are finding their unique answers and coming back for more.
I fondly calls the ever-growing series of work(play!)books "When I grow up I want to be a Novel." But, perhaps... that's more about you, and being novel, than my series of workbooks?

...as I read through the book, I did become aware of my way of thinking. People do tend to look at resolutions as a set-up for a disaster. I made one to give up junk food and I already fell off that wagon. As I kept reading, you really stuck a chord within me and I began to cry.
